As a machine operator, you are responsible for achieving the planning of your filling line by making the production process as efficient as possible. By properly explaining to the production staff who helps you what needs to be done and involving them in the process, you ensure that every order is processed with great care. You speak good English and are willing to learn the Dutch language. If you also speak Ukrainian, Polish or Russian, that would be a bonus. By quickly converting during a product change and quickly solving common malfunctions, you limit the downtime of the line and the day runs smoothly and there is also time to clean up in the meantime and think about process improvement.
After a thorough training period, you will be able to work independently between the machines of the filling lines. When carrying out the tasks independently, consideration should be given to, among other things:
- Reading filling orders and calling for the required materials in a timely manner;
- Converting and setting up the production line based on the filling orders;
- Manually connecting hoses in the various manifolds for the supply of the product to be filled;
- Adjusting/replacing label rolls during the production process;
- Setting and adjusting the filling speed during the production process;
- Resolving common malfunctions
- Taking samples for quality measurements;
- All occurring activities as indicated by the team leader.
- Ensuring that the safety of colleagues is guaranteed
